If I were to take a survey of Vintage Truck readers and ask what
is your least favorite job working on your truck, I bet that more
than two-thirds would say "electrical wiring."
Part of the problem with electricity is that you cannot see it,
you only see the results of what it does—good or bad. Dealing
with electricity is not like working on a transmission, for instance,
in which you physically can take the side cover off and watch the
gears move as you turn the input shaft and move the shift linkage.
Because you cannot see electricity at work, an element of
trust (or distrust) is involved.
